Dear Neighbor,

I am a Falcon Heights resident of 35 years, scientist, mother, grandmother, wife, outdoor adventurer and conservationist, gardener, sourdough baker, and voracious reader. I am running for Council because I want to strengthen our citizen-driven democracy, and because my extensive service and skill set position me well to address the issues we face as a community.

I currently serve on the Environment Commission and State Fair Task Force, and previously on the Community Engagement Commission.

I participated in community conversations on policing, the Larpenteur/ Snelling Corridor Study, and recently, as a member of the team that developed the city’s Climate Action Plan.

To these efforts, I bring considerable skills in assessing issues objectively while listening to others who may have differing viewpoints so that we may move forward together to build a sustainable community that is fiscally sound.
